SNAP Rapid Relief Grants
Since October 30, UWMB and 13 United Ways across Massachusetts have awarded grants to more than 200 community-based organizations that submitted applications.
With the reopening of the federal government and the restoration of funding for SNAP benefits, we are pausing accepting new applications. We are evaluating the continued need in light of SNAP eligibility changes and reauthorization requirements, as well as new pressures on households from increased costs and funding reductions for heat, housing and healthcare.
