Tocqueville Society members make a lasting and profound impact on our work. Private Equity/Venture Capital Industry

Throughout their 24-year-long partnership with United Way, the PE/VC industry has powered initiatives supporting young children and low-income families through skilled volunteering, fundraising, and community involvement. These include DRIVE, a developmental screening program for young children, providing almost 1,200 hours of hands-on volunteer work, and the Pay for Success initiative to end chronic homelessness.   LEARN MORE

Real Estate and Building Industry

For a quarter-century, United Way and the Real Estate and Building Industry have worked together to support stable housing programs across Greater Boston. The group helps give homes to the thousands of homeless families in the city, and through the Community Builders group provides younger industry members with access to volunteer opportunities. The Young Professionals group offers ways for upcoming leaders, young business people, and entrepreneurs to connect and share their experience so they’re even more prepared for the future of their career.
