On March 14th, United Way of Massachusetts Bay established the COVID-19 Family Support Fund, a dedicated resource for working families affected by the crisis. Mobilizing United Way’s broad network of nonprofit agencies, the COVID-19 Family Support Fund will provide a flexible source of cash assistance to help families weather the COVID-19 crisis.
How to Get Help
Individuals who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis can find assistance through United Way’s 2-1-1 service. Simply dial 2-1-1 on your phone to be connected to someone who can help you find health and human services available in the community. Supported by United Way, Mass 2-1-1 serves as a resource for finding government benefits and services, nonprofit organizations, support groups, volunteer opportunities, donation programs, and other local resources. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Or click here to search the 2-1-1 database of available services. Click here to find help >>
