Corporate Social Responsibility

Today, it’s not enough to just have a great product or service.

As consumers seek deeper, more transparent relationships and employees seek meaningful work and opportunities, great companies and brands must be able to tell their story through the lens of their social impact.

Enter technology.

Enter technology: disrupting both sides with more information and more choices available than ever before.  We pulled together a diverse group of business leaders to tell us how they’re leveraging online giving platforms and other CSR strategies to keep employees and customers engaged in their social mission.

Boston Business Journal Table of Experts: Philanthropy, Disrupted

Create a CSR Platform.

Employees want to feel good about what they do every day. This means working for a company that supports their philanthropic priorities and rewards them for giving and volunteering.

And you want to understand the good that your employees are doing and use this data to inform your corporate philanthropy story. That’s why we partnered with Salesforce to create the Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud Platform. With Philanthropy Cloud, your employees can give to any nonprofit they choose, find volunteer opportunities that match their passions, and chart the impact of their contribution – and yours – over time.

Detailed data reporting helps you understand your employees’ engagement, helping you create great experiences for your staff, and allows you to articulate your overall impact in the community. Talk to us about how Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud can transform your corporate social responsibility strategy.  Download the Philanthropy Cloud brochure here.

Tackle an Issue You Care About.

With nearly 100 years of experience in our community, we understand how social change works in Greater Boston and the New Hampshire Seacoast. We’ve been at the state house helping to advance legislation that has led to increased affordable housing or more effective pre-K programs. We know which levers to pull to increase graduation or literacy rates in a specific community. We lead design thinking processes, identify causes in need of sponsorship and create initiatives that integrate public-private partnerships, employee and consumer engagement, issue leadership, grant making, marketing and more. If there’s a cause that’s important to you, we can put a program together to help you address it.

Create a Culture of Volunteering.

Sometimes all you need is a team-building, barn-raising, all-hands-on-deck volunteer experience for your employees. We can do that for you. We can also design volunteer programs that utilize your employees’ specific skills. We can connect accounting employees to a nonprofit that needs help with tax filing. Biotech employees can host STEM programs. Whatever your business, we’ll help you create something that works for your workforce.  To learn more about creating customized volunteer programs, check out our Corporate Volunteering page.
