Emerging Leaders
What do you fight for?
The mission of the United Way Emerging Leaders (EL) is to engage, inspire, educate, and empower young professionals in the Greater Boston area to make a difference through volunteerism, advocacy, and philanthropy. Membership provides many opportunities throughout the year to strengthen personal professional connections, learn about relevant social issues and participate in on-the-ground volunteerism that promotes change. Emerging Leaders makes it fun and easy for young Bostonians to fight for worthy causes in our community.
Help feed 20,000 families this Thanksgiving!
In Massachusetts today, 1 in 12 people goes hungry. From inflation to income instability resulting from the pandemic, too many families are forced to make difficult financial decisions daily – like the choice between feeding their children or getting them their medication.
Every year, United Way’s Thanksgiving Project unites the community to bring hundreds of volunteers and donors together with the mission of providing more than 20,000 local families with a Thanksgiving meal. Join the movement and learn how you can get involved in the fight for food security in our community.
