Who Are We Working With?
United Way is not new to emergency response — United Way’s Family Fund has a 20 year history and already supports vulnerable children and families in these communities through our partners. We know that during an emergency, the most critical things philanthropic leaders can do is coordinate, to ensure funds are deployed to meet as many needs as possible.
Bringing together the resources to help in a crisis such as COVID-19 is what we do. Mobilizing resources, raising funds and distributing them to people in need, as quickly and efficiently as humanly possible is our expertise. Within hours of Governor Baker’s declared state of emergency, we began assembling our teams of:
- Corporate partners who could help close the gap between the tremendous need in our community and the dollars available to help. Within hours of sounding the rallying cry, partners across the region came forward to help, and together have raised nearly $1 Million.
