Recognizing Women Who LIVE UNITED: Sandy Edgerley

On October 15, we will celebrate 20 years of women coming together for tomorrow’s leaders at our Women’s Leadership Breakfast. Each year we also honor influential women leaders of today, those who LIVE UNITED by inspiring and mobilizing others to have a positive, lasting change in our communities. Past honorees include Ambassador Swanee Hunt, Kip Hollister of Hollister Staffing, Kit Jenkins and Mary Flannery of Raw Art Works, Marcela Aldaz of Mass Mutual Financial Group and Linda Driscoll of Dream Big!

One of Sandy’s most inspirational qualities is that she does not see entrenched social problems as impermeable. She sees them as challenges waiting for action. She does not give simply because it is the right thing to do. She gives to generate change.

Over the last five years, particularly in the area of education, we have watched her inspire countless youth to put aside their past expectations, overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
