Powered by United Way of the Greater Seacoast and the Granite Youth Alliance, the Granite Youth Film Festival is a unique opportunity that empowers young change-makers to create films that raise awareness about preventable health problems they face in their community. These student-made films focus on substance-free living, and how that contributes to healthy minds and healthy bodies. Youth filmmakers pitch their idea in front of a panel, write, direct, shoot, and star in their own productions. The premiere is a two-day event that includes first screenings of all films, interviews with youth participants, and door prizes.
If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact Janet Guen at jguen@uwgs.org.
Special thanks to Kennebunk Savings Bank for their investment in the Granite Youth Alliance program!
