Request for Partnership with United Way
Thank you for your interest in United Way partnership. We value our relationships with high-quality, effective nonprofits in order to deliver on our mission of uniting communities to create positive, lasting change for people in need.
Partnership with United Way may take different forms including long-term strategic grantmaking or community-based and/or regional initiatives. In order to determine the best ways to partner with us, United Way offers the following process for becoming our partner.
To begin, please submit a partnership request using this link.
Requests will be reviewed quarterly. At that point, a United Way staff person will call and provide you with feedback on your request. After that, the process may include a site visit from United Way volunteers and staff and a discussion about the benefits and responsibilities of United Way partnership.
Please note that United Way’s multi-year RFP process is by invitation only. United Way considers agency alignment with United Way’s strategic grantmaking goals as well as the need to maintain an effective presence within the United Way footprint where the need is greatest; a commitment to current partner agencies; and the availability of revenue.
With requests reviewed quarterly, you can expect to hear from a United Way representative within a few months of submitting your request. We do not suggest submitting multiple requests. We thank you for your time and interest in United Way.
