South of Boston

We have a mix of strong nonprofit agencies and partners involved in our innovative initiatives serving children, youth and families on the South Shore.

We award over almost $2.7 million to 21 community partners located on the South Shore.

In addition to this funding, we recently:

Opened the Quincy Financial Reach Center in partnership with Quincy Community Action Programs.
Provided Thanksgiving dinners to 440 families on the South Shore through our Thanksgiving Project.
Provide more than 600 children will have access to a high-quality early education.
Helped 683 low-income working individuals with free tax preparation through our Earned Income Tax Credit initiative and returned more than $1.3 million to the local economy through federal refunds and credits.
