PE/VC Youth Venture Launch Party

United Way’s Private Equity/Venture Capital Associate Council and Youth Venture Advisory Board host a night of drinks, door prizes, networking, and high-impact volunteer opportunities t0 support the Youth Venture program and our city’s budding entrepreneurs.

This fall, through Youth Venture, 300 local youth will design and launch their own social ventures. These teams will tackle some of the toughest issues in our communities, while learning business and communication skills along the way. Last year, four stand-out teams were invited to re-pitch for summer funding. Each of the two finalists were awarded an additional $10,000 and are now working hard to scale and sustain their businesses.
