GradNation Boston Summit
October 14, 2016 @ 11:30 am - 5:30 pm
What can we do to raise the graduation rate in our City to 90 percent by 2020?
Boston has committed elected officials and business leaders, world class universities and health care institutions, a thriving nonprofit sector and a passion for innovation. Yet more than one in five students do not graduate from high school. Why?
Join Bank of America and United Way for GradNation Boston, a day of discussion and action to share solutions and get more community members involved in helping to keep youth engaged, ready to graduate and to move on to college and/or technical training and careers. GradNation Boston will have a special focus on helping students achieve growth in social and emotional skills in order to foster educational success and financial opportunity.
GradNation Boston, presented by United Way in partnership with America’s Promise Alliance, AT&T and Bank of America, is part of a national movement to raise awareness about the dropout crisis and ways we can come together to help students succeed in school and graduate.
