Generations Apart: Moving Families Forward, Together
October 28, 2015 @ 8:00 am - 11:45 am
Utilizing Two-Generational Approaches to Achieve Lasting Change
It’s been 50 years since our country launched the War on Poverty. Despite many well-intentioned interventions in early childhood, education, job training and other support programs, too many families have not been able to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty in our region.
Please join United Way and Bank of America as we bring together national and local experts who have demonstrated innovation and results implementing a two-generational approach ensuring the educational, health and well-being needs of families are met in a way that creates greater economic mobility and long-term success.
Gain a deeper understanding of the benefits of a two-generational approach, how to adapt current program models, and how to put all the pieces together to help families move forward – together.
