North Shore Women in Action: BBQ Bash on the Beach

Join United Way’s North Shore Women in Action on beautiful Tuck’s Point, overlooking the harbor in Manchester-by-the-Sea, to celebrate summer and the announcement of the 2016 Women in Action grants.

Wear your flip-flops, sandals and favorite summer BBQ attire to join the Women (and men) in Action for food, beer and cocktails, accompanied by live steel drum musical entertainment. Your attendance will benefit WIA’s mission to promote healthy eating and physical activity for children and families on the North Shore. This year’s event will feature WIA’s nutrition education impact. Since 2012, Women in Action has funded 15 healthy eating classes that engaged 250 families in nutrition education.
