HomeStart’s mission is to end and prevent homelessness among low-income at-risk families and individuals residing throughout greater Boston. HomeStart’s work is premised on the belief that safe, permanent, affordable housing is the essential foundation required for any efforts to promote a family or individual’s stability, self-sufficiency, health and well-being. HomeStart’s core programs and services work one-on-one with families and individuals experiencing homelessness and housing crisis, helping these households access and maintain permanent housing.
