South of Boston
We have a mix of strong nonprofit agencies and partners involved in our innovative initiatives serving children, youth and families on the South Shore.
We award over $720,000 to seven community partners located on the South Shore.
In addition to this funding, we recently:
- Opened the Quincy Financial Reach Center in partnership with Quincy Community Action Programs.
- Provided Thanksgiving dinners to over 600 families on the South Shore through our Thanksgiving Project
- Helped 643 low-income working individuals with free tax preparation through our Earned Income Tax Credit initiative and returned more than $1.3 million to the local economy through federal refunds and credits.
A complete list of partner agencies can be found here. (PDF)
